DJ Sound and Lighting was founded by Don Mc Dowell and Josh Cavanaugh in 2004. For the past 15 years, both founders have been involved with Sound and Pro Lighting. Both took an interest in media equipment at a young age as a result of serving the DFW Area.

DJ Sound and Lighting is located in Dallas, Texas. The company provides a wide variety of services ranging from equipment sales, rentals and tech support to concert productions and installations.

Josh Cavanaugh and Don McDowell interned for both youth and music ministries for six years with a church in Dallas Texas. Josh has also mixed sound for both styles of music for church services and concerts.
